Preparation of master

Contents of replicated discs are identical to contents of your master. It is important that you master is being made by certain CD / DVD standards. In case that your master is not made according to these standards, there is a possibility that the replicated disk is unreadable or not being properly read in some CD / DVD players.
For quality production of glass master and stamper, your master, which you will provide us must be mechanically undamaged, which means no scratches or fingerprints on it.


Preparation of master data for CD-ROM discs and CD-Audio discs

- CD-R disc
- replicated CD-ROM disc
- CD-AUDIO disc (max. length 79 min, 30 seconds)

It is advisable to create two masters on two different CD media.
It is advisable to check the master in several different devices, and in several different operating systems.


Preparation of master for DVD discs

Facilities of master on your DVD discs should be prepared with the hardware and software that supports the format of messages per IPO9660 or Micro-UDF standard.
It is advisable not to use the home devices for recording video signals directly to DVD-R discs because it is possible that some of these devices shall develop recording that do not match all the DVD-video standards, so there is a possibility that the replicated DVD disc is not correctly readable in some DVD players.

Master for DVD-5 discs should be submitted in the following media:
- DVD-R (General and Authoring)
- replicated DVD-ROM disc (for data content)
- replicated DVD-ROM disc (for data content)
- DLT tape

Master for DVD-9 discs should be submitted in the following media:
- DVD-R Dual layer disk
- replicated DVD-ROM disc (for data content)
- replicated DVD-Video disc (for video content)
- 2 * DVD-R containing DDP image for each layer separately
- DLT-tape
